MASS Contracting & Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Electrical Substation Engineer to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of high-voltage (11kV & 33kV) substation projects. You will oversee technical execution, manage engineering teams, and ensure strict compliance with industrial safety and quality standards across our commercial and industrial project sites.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Review and develop electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and protection schemes for 11kV/33kV substations and power distribution systems.

• Project Execution: Oversee site installations, including transformers, switchgears, HT/LT panels, busbar trunking systems (BBT), and lightning protection.

• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the pre-commissioning testing of equipment and secure necessary approvals from regulatory authorities (e.g., BREB, PDB, DESCO).

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field technicians, junior engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate technical specifications of electrical equipment and manage vendor relations.

🎓 Job Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a reputed university.

• Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience specifically in substation installation and industrial power distribution projects.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and load calculation tools. Deep knowledge of BNBC standards and international electrical codes.

• Soft Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication abilities.
